Congress replaced with random sample

I think that there are many interesting questions that must be studied. This post will debate new systems of government.

Current system. Outdated, expired 100 years ago. Corruption and corporate influence is prevailent.

Idea 1:

1: We abolish the current system and we don´t have senators and representatives. We do have a panel of people; researchers, economists, and scientists that research and develop important issues. For example, the panel would decide that ISIS is a huge problem and it must be solved.

2: A random sample of 1000 people vote if they agree with the panel. They will meet and conference with people who study these issues, the panel. This is a check which can overturn the panels decision. For instance, they may say ¨we agree with the panel¨.

3: The same random sample decides the specific type of action. They come up with innovative plans in collaboration with economists and scientists as well as the panel. For instance, they may want to build  polygraph stations to quiz locals, to find exactly where the terrorists are located and send in 10,000 soldiers.

4: The issue is solved and they are never chosen again. The next issue is decided and a new random sample is chosen.

Advantages: Everything- A perfect representation of the public, no corruption and corporate influence.
Disadvantages: If you select a bunch of lazy people who don´t want to do anything.Very minimal.
